University of Arizona - Santa Rita Experimental Range (SRER)
SRER, established in 1903, is the oldest research area maintained by the U.S. Forest Service, and has been a principal site for pioneer range research on the improvement and management of semiarid grasslands in the Southwest. The University of Arizona College of Agriculture took over administration of SRER in 1987.
