Download Data

Almost all data on the Arizona Atlas (with exception of the Census data from Geolytics and the highways layer from ADOT) is available for downloading. Downloadable data can be found under each map theme. All data are in shapefile format, NAD83, UTM Zone 12, meters projection.

The data download process is the same for each map theme. In order to get the data:

• Click on Make a Map.
  
• Select a map theme, for example, "Natural Resources."
  
• Click on the Data Download button located on the left hand side of the screen.
  
• Read the Disclaimer Statement and click on Accept to continue.
  
• The data is arranged in categories similar to the map folders. For example, Reptile Species Richness is under the Animals folder.
  
• Select one of the categories.
  
• Click the appropriate button and you will see what data layers under that category are available to download.
  
• To access other available data layers, click on Other Data Sets located at the end of the list of main categories.
