Arizona Electronic Atlas Proprietary Rights

General conditions: You may access the information, create and download maps, and download data, without restriction. The majority of the data are in the public domain, although proper citation of the data sources is appreciated. Data not available for download includes that from GeoLytics Inc. (value-added U.S. Census data) and the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Citation of material: When using the Arizona Electronic Atlas materials in print or digital form, please include proper citations. In web publications, credit can be provided by including the citation on the page or via a link to a credits page. We suggest the following forms:

• For maps created using the Arizona Electronic Atlas: Map produced by the Arizona Electronic Atlas <http://atlas.library.arizona.edu>, [map theme], [date]. Example: Map produced by the Arizona Electronic Atlas <http://atlas.library.arizona.edu>, People and Society map theme, October 15, 2003.

Copyrights: The architecture, graphical design and graphical elements, Arizona Electronic Atlas logo, project-specific programming and other project-specific, implementation details of the components and the entirety of the Arizona Electronic Atlas web site and supporting applications are copyrighted by the University of Arizona Library under the auspices of the Arizona Board of Regents. The supporting applications include, but are not limited to: Make a Map, About the Data, and Get Data. The work is protected under United States copyright law and other international copyright treaties and conventions.

Data that is downloadable is in the public domain and is not copyrighted.
