About the Atlas

The purpose of this atlas is to:

  1. Allow our users to create dynamic maps of Arizona, choosing the data that meets their needs
  2. Allow our users to save, email and download their maps so they may be integrated into other applications
  3. Meet the educational and research goals of our users
  4. Provide easy and convenient access to geo-spatial data
  5. Provide an innovative tool for improving geographic literacy
