Welcome to the Arizona Electronic Atlas!

The Arizona Electronic Atlas is an innovative interactive atlas that allows one to create, manipulate, and download accurate and current maps and data. We invite you to create your own map using these map themes: Natural Resources, People and Society, Business and Economics, People and Environment, Water Resources, Health and Crime, and Historic American Indian Areas. The Atlas was designed for the general user, and with features and data the expert will find useful as well.

New Additions

  • Three new map themes are now available from Make a Map! The new map themes are Health and Crime, Water Resources, and Historic American Indian Areas. The latter one is based on data from the Arizona Historic Census Geodatabase mentioned below.
  • Arizona Historic Census Geodatabase has just been added to the site! You can download geospatial and attribute data for American Indian Reservations, Cities and Towns, City Wards, and County Subdivisions for Arizona. The dates available cover each decennial Census of Population and Housing from 1870-1980. All data are in shapefile format, UTM Zone 12, and meters projection.
